Patriotic Covers of The Civil War Era

The Civil War patriotic covers and other printed stationery items created by the Charles Magnus Company are distinguished by their eye-catching hand-coloring. To create the covers, a pre-cut stencil pattern was laid over a black and white design and color was applied. The workers, primarily women and children paid a salary of 8-cents per day for their labors, were given free reign in their color selections. As a result, Civil War patriotic covers with designs created by the Charles Magnus Company may be truly unique.

I have a large collection of Civil War Covers, approximately 500. It includes many by Charles Magnus, black and white as well as hand colored. Many of Pres. Lincoln also maps, ships, flags and camp scenes etc. colors and black and white. I know nothing of there worth and am interested in selling the entire collection. I would appreciate any and all the help you can give me as to how one goes about doing this. If you would like I can send some pictures to you, however there is no way I could ever take them all. Thank You .
    Sincerely, Margaret

Yes please send pictures, I have some old cachet covers myself and do not have any idea as to where to get references on these, no artist is indicated on any of them they seem to be of confederate war and Lincoln in content. I think by looking at one they seem to be printed in the 40’s but not sure of that either as one refers to period of 76 and 41 only. Can you help here?
Very much appreciate any assistance I can get!
